Clothesline Project
Over the past 10 years, the Clothesline Project has provided clothing and back-to-school essentials at no cost for over 10,000 students in Anchorage. Organized by AC4C, this project has grown into a true example of the community coming together to help those in need. Each child can select clothing of their size and style before they visit our partner booths that are all there to help prepare them for success for the coming school year.
Each year, smiles are seen all day on the faces of families and volunteers. With a live DJ, free food, and fun games, the event itself has become an exciting and engaging experience, and we look forward to continuing to grow this project.
We would like to thank the generosity of our many partners who have helped expand this program throughout the years.
The partnerships in our community grow each year, and the most updated listing can be found HERE.
