The Team
Leadership
I work in Payroll and Personnel for the Anchorage Police Department and have been with APD since April 2013. I started in Records and transitioned to my current role in January 2016. I also served in the US Navy for seven years and am a certified personal trainer. Over the years, I’ve participated in many AC4C events, with Shop with a Cop and Clothesline being my favorites. To me, these events embody the true spirit of community support and giving back.
Bonnie Mirenda Chair
I moved to Alaska in 2015 and joined AC4C in 2019. With a degree in Retail Management, I currently serve as a merchandise buyer for Alaska's 9 Walmart stores. Passionate about supporting local communities, I enjoy using my 25 years of retail experience in innovative ways. My favorite AC4C event is Shop with a Hero, which unites First Responder agencies to create a memorable holiday season for kids and adults alike.
Katie Bailey Vice Chair
Executive Board
I was born and raised outside of Pittsburgh, PA, and joined the Air Force after graduation, serving nearly 22 years as a TACP/JTAC. I’m married and have three adult children. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems / Management from Park University. I’ve been with APD since 2009 and currently work as a detective.
Joe Ruble Treasurer
I am one of the founding board members of AC4C. After retiring from the military, I have served in both local and state government. Currently, I am a vice president at Rasmuson Foundation. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, fishing, and everything the Alaska outdoors has to offer. My favorite event is Clothesline, where community donations and volunteers ensure kids have new clothes for the start of the school year.
Bob Doehl Secretary
Directors
I am a Director on the AC4C board and have worked in various departments at the Anchorage Police Department for over five years. Currently, I am a Community Relations Specialist. I love hiking Alaska’s beautiful mountains and exploring the world. My favorite AC4C event is “Coffee with a Cop,” which brings community members together with APD officers at local coffee shops.
Amanda Brimanis
I am a lifelong Alaskan, graduating from Chugiak High School and the University of Alaska Anchorage. I joined the AC4C Advisory Council in 2017, driven by my passion for public safety and commitment to our mission. I have a special fondness for events like Coffee with a Cop and The Clothesline Project, and I hope to inspire others to help build a safer community for all of us to work and live in.
Danielle Grigg
Although I was born and raised on the east coast, I have lived in Alaska for 24 years. I went to Wendler Middle School and graduated from Bartlett High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Alaska Native Studies. I have been a police officer for 16 years. My favorite AC4C event is the one that brings hope to our community, so I love all of them.

I became a Patrol Officer at APD in June 2020 and was excited to join AC4C as soon as I could. I enjoy community outreach events and connecting with the public. My favorite event is the annual Shop With A Hero, where officers take kids holiday shopping. Seeing the smiles on their faces is the greatest reward!

As the APDEA Administrative Assistant, I support APDEA and its charity, Anchorage Cops for Community (AC4C). Before joining APDEA, I spent 30 years with the Municipality of Anchorage, including 28 years in the APD Emergency Communications Center.
