Clothesline Project

Clothesline Project

Organized by AC4C, this project has grown into a true example of the community coming together to help those in need. Education is a priority and many students start the year off with only 1 pair of pants or 1 shirt. Some don't even have jackets for when winter sets in. Clothesline Project aims to help these kids feel good by looking good. We want them to start school off focused on their eduction and not the next time they have to wash their only pair of socks.

Starting in May, we collect new and gently used clothing, shoes, and winter gear for students in need. Each child can select clothing of their size and style before they visit our partner booths that are all there to help prepare them for success for the coming school year.

This fun friendly atmosphere brings smiles all day from not only the kids, but their families and the many volunteers. With a live DJ, free food, and fun games, the event itself has become an exciting and engaging experience, and we look forward to continuing to grow this project. Impact Alaska

Impact Alaska is a day of service to communities all over the state of Alaska. Over the years, it has looked like community cleanup projects, free oil changes for single parents, gas by-downs for the community, making gift baskets for first responders, minor repair projects in people's homes, and so much more.

Everyone is worthy of respect and support, regardless of their circumstances. Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference.

Keep our community strong by helping those who need it.
